Poster Boys box office : Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol hit screens Friday; what will they earn at BO? | 5Anjabi

Poster Boys box office collection prediction:After a gap of almost 4 years, brothers Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will be sharing the silver screen with their latest release Poster Boys which is all set to hit the theaters on Friday. The movie has been talk of the town for various reasons starting with its director who is none other than the diversified actor Shreyas Talpade. From Sunny and Bobby-styled dance sequences to some Punjabi action scenes, Poster Boys seems nothing less than a typical family entertainer with a pinch of comedy. Also, director Shreyas himself is sharing the screen. Speaking to Indian Express, trade analyst Girish Johar predicted that the movie will do decent business at the box office and will bag around Rs 3 crore on its opening day.
“I am expecting roughly around Rs 3 crores. The Deols have a strong fan-base in the northern side of India, hence I am expecting it to do better there,” said Girish Johar. However, another big release which is happening tomorrow is Arjun Rampal starrer Daddy. Daddy is a biopic of gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. No doubt Arjun Rampal has a huge fan-base and it will be interesting to see which of these two movies will win the box office.
“Daddy and Poster Boys are decent and well-promoted films. Both belong to different genres. Poster Boys is in the zone of the kind of desi films which are running well right now. Poster Boys is a humorous films, with a message, at least that’s what they tried to convince through the promos,” Johar added later. Both the movies have managed to acquire around 1,000 to 1,200 screens.
Poster Boys is a Hindi remake of the 2014 Marathi film Poshter Boyz, which starred Dilip Prabhavalkar, Hrishikesh Joshi, Aniket Vishvasrao in lead roles. It was produced by Shreyas.
